Freelance Permit

Dubai is a place with great flexible working laws, allowing residents to establish their own business or work as freelancers. For such individuals, a license called the freelance permit is issued by TECOM Group for independent contractors. This permit is recommended for those who are on their spouses’ or parents’ visa. However, those without a spouse or parent visa can also apply for a freelancer permit. The residency permit allows the individual to work as a freelancer in any Emirate and can be renewed every three years.
